In what at least seems to be an unusually deadly ski season in Montana and Wyoming, two skiers were killed yesterday at Whitefish Mountain in Northwest Montana. In a separate incident, another man died yesterday in an avalanche near Hungry Horse Dam in Flathead County.

WHITEFISH - Two male skiers died at Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort on Saturday.

Flathead County dispatchers tell us one of the skiers was found unconscious at the bottom of Ed's Run and was taken to North Valley Hospital at 1:15 p.m., where he was pronounced dead.

The other skier was reported missing at 5:40 p.m. Once he was found, medics performed C.P.R. and he was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

We'll have more information as soon as it becomes available.

Saturday's skier deaths come on the same day that a man perished after getting caught in an avalanche near Hungry Horse Dam.
