He got kicked off a plane, stormed Twitter and… now what?

The majority of us by know already know about the whole Alec Baldwin-American Airlines fiasco, but the actor may have left out a few crucial details. According to American Airlines, Alec Baldwin wasn’t thrown off the flight simply for playing ‘Words With Friends’ on his cell phone, as the actor had alleged in a series of Tweets.

The airline took its turn with social networking by defending the crew’s actions on its Facebook page. American Airlines explained Baldwin violated FCC regulations and went on to say,

This passenger [Baldwin] declined to turn off his cell phone when asked to do so at the appropriate time. The passenger ultimately stood up (with the seat belt light still on for departure) and took his phone into the plane’s lavatory. He slammed the lavatory door so hard, the cockpit crew heard it and became alarmed, even with the cockpit door closed and locked.

At which point, the airline alleges Baldwin became abusive to the crew, and was thus booted from the flight.

If you are hoping Baldwin keeps this social media war alive by firing back at American Airlines, don’t expect it to happen. Baldwin deactivated his popular Twitter account on Wednesday. Sorry folks.
