This video follows a reporter as he asked pretty basic questions about the world 'America runs' to people he finds on the streets of America. As you might guess, not many gave correct answers. Some answered so far off it leaves you wondering if they had a sudden spurt of stage fright.

There are even a few people in the video who appear to be foreigners and not Americans. Besides the point, shouldn't everyone from a 1st world country know these answers? They aren't questions that are useful on a day to day basis but they are all important in relation to our history and the world around us.

I thought it would be beneficiary to give the answers to all the questions. Maybe it will inspire further research into the world around us. And the next time a British reporter asks you what the religion of Israel is, you can answer, "Israel's main religion is Judaism but 16% are Muslim and 2% are Christian."
