Kelsey Dzintars’ Art Gallery Showing At 406 Brewing Company In Bozeman Tonight [PHOTOS]

If you haven't been to the 406 Brewing Company on East Oak just past Walmart, tonight is the perfect opportunity. MSU Graphic Design grad, Kelsey Dzintars, will be having an art gallery opening from 6-8pm tonight the 5th. Not only will you get to try Bozeman's newest brewery's finest ale but you'll get to see some great art by a local artist.

Kelsey gave a sit down interview with Explore Big Sky Magazine to discuss her work and what inspires her. It's been said that she uses color like weapons.

My paintings used to be very lonely and confrontational, in the sense that they were single figures staring straight at you. They were kind of unnerving—or at least that’s what people told me.

I went through a transition three or four years ago, when I started to get into this happier place. I wanted to paint the good things in life and all the exuberant feelings.

While it’s difficult to let go of the original image I have in my mind, I’ve learned that when I give in to the flow, the results are surprising and often better than what I intended.
