I attended and documented the Redbull sponsored film “Art of Flight” by Brain Farm productions this last Monday the 7th of November at the Emerson theatre. I was just as stoked as the rest of the crowd to get in on the latest and greatest in what Red Bull and their crack team of filmers and riders had to offer, but I was not quite prepared for what ensued.

The film was shot on Phantom Flex cameras which film at 1000 frames a second, which for to the average Joe translates to super duper high def slow motion. Helicopter shots of helicopters flying behind other helicopters, and some of the worlds best snowboarders shredding the gnarliest lines in the world filled the next hour or so.

All of the proceeds from the show were generously donated to the Gallatin Valley Skate Park Association, and World Boards skate shop donated a bunch of cool gear including a Travis Rice pro-model board to be raffled of before the show. Everyone left drooling for snow and the promise of a pow filled winter ahead of us. Let it snow!

See a trailer for 'Art of Flight' below and look for the DVD sometime this winter
