Astronomy & Aerospace Day at The Museum of the Rockies is Sunday, April 19
Don’t miss a fun-filled day of learning about what’s out there in space and how it relates to us on the ground at the Museum of the Rockies this Sunday, April 19. There will be presentations, exhibitors from MSU, kids’ activities, and planetarium shows. Astronomy & Aerospace Day – Museum of the Rockies – Sunday, April 19 from 1 – 4 p.m.
Included with museum admission, kids under 17 are free, MSU students free with student ID.
There will be presentations (see schedule below), “Black Holes” planetarium show at 1 pm, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., hands-on kids’ activities throughout the afternoon and activities and demonstrations from MSU and community organizations.
1 p.m. – Opening Remarks, Angela DesJardins, Director, Montana Space Grant Consortium
1:10 p.m. – Geoff Bland, Research Engineer, NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, Wallops Flight Facility
2 p.m. – Autograph session with speakers
3 p.m. – Jaime Waydo, Google[x] systems engineer on the Chauffeur Self-Driving Car Program and former NASA Curiosity Rover Mobility Engineer; MSU alumnus
