I once did a "ride along" with the Bozeman Police Department and it was way cool. If law enforcement is truly something you've always been interested in, then this free session is for you. - Michelle

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to patrol officer, detective of SWAT member? Do you often question why the Bozeman Police Officers do what they do? Is it really possible to solve a homicide in an hour like they do on TV?

The Bozeman Police Department is proud to sponsor the third session of our popular Citizen's Police Academy.

This free class will meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30-9:30 pm over the course of nine weeks, with optional weekend events and an opportunity to ride along with our patrol officers on their beat! The academy starts March 23, 2011.

One of our main objectives of our Citizen's Police Academy is to foster stronger communication between the citizens of Bozeman and our police department.

They will be offering information about their department and criminal justice system so students have a better understanding of the services the Bozeman Police Department provides to our community.

If you are interested in attending this high-energy event or have questions, contact Lt. Mark Johnson at mjohnson@bozeman.net or at 582-2245. You may also submit this application as spots are filling fast!
