March 21, 2012 I love Google street view. I somehow get this voyeuristic excitement when I use it even though I know the images are from the past. I studied abroad in Japan, and since my return, I've used Google Street View to take nostalgic trips through photos of the routes used to bike around town.
It makes sense that a technologically advanced country such as Japan has comprehensive Google Street View maps, but now Google's gone even further by venturing into the Amazon (the actual forest not the website.)

David Heatherly had been snapping shots of beautiful Montana scenery on a recently reopened road in the Lewis and Clark National Forest when his sport-utility vehicle became stuck. The next three days he spent inside his car with nothing but some jerky and his cell phone.

February 29, 2012 The previous record was held at 207 feet 4 inches and this new record pretty much shattered it. The record breaking feat was held in the Frys.com hangar to prevent any wind interferance on Sunday February 26, 2012 . Watch as the new world record throw nearly went from wall to wall in this massive hangar.

February 17, 2012 The title of the event is 'First 15,000 Attendants Get Two Free Tickets - US Travel Only', sounds great doesn't it? I went through a few steps and then read the small print and in order to receive the tickets you need to grant advertisers access to text or call your cell phone. These calls and texts usually cost you lots of money. I've been fooled before.
February 17, 2012 Will the Jeremy Lin craze continue? I hope so. He's who everyone wants to be. He is the guy who gets the call in dire circumstances and delivers a stellar performance. Is he the Tom Brady of Basketball? Only time will tell. Until then I hope he enjoys the ride and continues to impress. But a look back into the recent past, it wasn't always easy for Lin.
