Avalaunch Joins The Masses At Outdoor Retailer in Utah [PHOTOS VIDEO]

Outdoor Retailer in Salt Lake City can be described no better than a gathering of the tribe. Every outdoor related company shopping their next year’s products and retailers coming to check out the goods, the show consists of attendees buying, selling, and networking nonstop for 4 days straight. After business hours on the show floor though, more of the social aspect of the show comes to the foreground of peoples focus.

Bozeman’s Blackbird Kitchen Adds Business Hours

Bozeman has in its repertoire of eating establishments a very wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Starting this last weekend, the Blackbird Kitchen now offers foodstuffs for each repast. The Blackbird is, in this commentator’s opinion, one of the finer eating establishments we are graced with here in Bozeman.

Red Lodge Mountain is Seeing the Best Snow In Years [PHOTOS]

As most everyone can attest to, this season has not been the most bountiful as far as epic powder days at Bridger Bowl and Big Sky. As a connoisseur of the cold white fluffy stuff myself, it being mid January with few to no powder days logged this season, things are beginning to get depressing. As the dry spell around Bozeman continues, Red Lodge Mountain Resort seems to continually be getting 10 inch and plus storms making more and more enticing to Bozeman-ites to skip the local slopes and head east.

One Of Bozeman’s Finest Breweries, The Bozeman Brewing Company

Several weeks ago I was able to get together with Tucker Kalberg; brewer and Sales associate at Bozeman Brewery. He showed me around the facilities here at the brewery located near downtown Bozeman and introduced me to some of the family including Todd Scott, the owner and operator, Bill Hyland, the head brewer, Chris Schafer, brewer and lab tech and Ryan Watson, the FNG. We grabbed a beer and Tucker toured me through the production process of their beers, and then also the canning and keg’ing process. Here is what he had to say.

DubVTees Brings Amazing Custom T-Shirts and Shades To Bozeman

Bozeman is chalk full of young inspired entrepreneurs who are starting up small business’s even in this floundering economy. One of my good friends Walker Howard, a graduate of the graphic design program at MSU and amazing artist, recently partnered with another friend, Vesa White to found DubVTees, a printing and textile design company. DubVTees mainly operates printing shirts, but has recently expanded into other fields of graphic design and custom apparel production. I got together with Walker at the production warehouse and he showed me the printing process while we talked the talk.

Another wonderful show at the Filling Station this last week, the 30th of November, put on by Compound Productions featuring Flat Cheddar and Pert Near Sandstone. I caught up with Pert Near Sandstone after the show and got them to throw down on a quick interview. Here is what came of it.

‘All I Can’ Ski Movie Premiere – Best Movie Ever?

Several weeks ago, I was able to attend the Bozeman premier of “All I Can” by Sherpas Cinema, a production company based out of Whistler, British Columbia. Leading up the evening of the screening, I had heard many rumors floating about regarding this particular flick. My friends had been saying things like “The best ski movie of all time”, and “The Art of Flight of Skiing but better!” As I had never experienced any of Sherpas Cinema’s previous works, I did not know what to expect.

‘Art of Flight’ Premiere In Bozeman – Let It Snow!

I attended and documented the Redbull sponsored film “Art of Flight” by Brain Farm productions this last Monday the 7th of November at the Emerson theatre. I was just as stoked as the rest of the crowd to get in on the latest and greatest in what Red Bull and their crack team of filmers and riders had to offer, but I was not quite prepared for what ensued.
