Grammy-winning wintery rock outfit Bon Iver will play all new songs at an August festival appearance in Wisconsin.

Eaux Claires organizer and Bon Iver front man Justin Vernon took to Twitter on June 9 to inform fans of the unique nature of the performance.

“(T)o everyone asking: its a SET of ALL new music,” he clarified from his personal account. So attendees should not expect to hear “Skinny Love,” the bucolic acoustic song that brought him fame in 2009.

The Aug. 12-13 festival appearance comes on the heels of “Cercle,” the group’s four-night stand at the Sydney Opera House in May 2016. The residency served as a stripped-down retrospective of Bon Iver’s catalog, accompanied by surrealistic visuals as part of the Vivid LIVE series. New tracks titled “Creature Fear,” “Michicant” and “Heavenly Father” debuted live in these sessions

Bon Iver have no additional concert dates on the books, nor have they released information on an upcoming album. Bon Iver last embarked on an extensive tour in 2012, with select Asian dates in early 2016. Vernon has also performed worldwide with side project Volcano Choir.

Vernon’s last recording was “I Need a Forest Fire,” his contribution to James Blake’s 2016 album, The Colour in Anything. His last LP under the Bon Iver name came out in 2011.
