The Recreation and Parks Board has recommended closing Bogert Pool after the upcoming summer season and turning it into a splash park. Details here:

The Recreation and Parks Board recommendation to the Bozeman City Commission involves closing Bogert Pool after the 2013 summer season so that it can be turned into a splash park for kids. The estimated cost is around $1.2 million. The splash park would hopefully be ready for the 2014 summer season. City manager Chris Kukulski told KBZK that the city will then look for a partner to build a larger outdoor pool in the next few years. Kukulski said, "so in the short term it's build a splash park to replace Bogert while working towards building a new aquatics facility for the community."

Commissioners will vote on the future of Bogert Pool Monday, April 22 at 6 pm in the City Commission room at City Hall (121 North Rouse Ave).
