Bozeman City Commissioners To Vote On Future Of Bogert Pool
The Recreation and Parks Board recommendation to the Bozeman City Commission involves closing Bogert Pool after the 2013 summer season so that it can be turned into a splash park for kids. The estimated cost is around $1.2 million. The splash park would hopefully be ready for the 2014 summer season. City manager Chris Kukulski told KBZK that the city will then look for a partner to build a larger outdoor pool in the next few years. Kukulski said, “so in the short term it’s build a splash park to replace Bogert while working towards building a new aquatics facility for the community.”
Commissioners will vote on the future of Bogert Pool Monday, April 22 at 6 pm in the City Commission room at City Hall (121 North Rouse Ave).
