Bozeman’s Caitlin Lonergan Named Gatorade Montana Volleyball Player of the Year

Bozeman High School senior Caitlin Lonergan has just been named the Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year for the state of Montana. The 6-foot-2 senior has chosen to stay in Bozeman and play volleyball for Montana State next year!

Lonergan was named the 2015-16 Gatorade Montana Volleyball Player of the Year, distinguishing her as the state's best high school volleyball player, after the senior outside hitter led the Hawks to a 26-3 record and the Class AA state title this past season.

Lonergan is only the second Gatorade Montana Volleyball Player of the Year to be chosen from Bozeman High School. There is no doubt our Bobcat volleyball team is receiving an upgrade after Lonergan has signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball on scholarship at Montana State University in the fall of 2016.
