The 16th annual Can the Griz Food Drive takes place on Saturday, Nov. 7 through Saturday, Nov. 21. Although it is a friendly off-field competition between Montana State University and the University of Montana to see which community can collect the most donations for their local food banks, we are very proud to hold a lead of 14 - 1 because our friends and neighbors in need are the real winners. Let's all rally to help continue this winning tradition.

In 2014, MSU and the Bozeman area community set a record donation to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank, donating 171,554 pounds of food plus approximately $74,636! Let's set .a new record again this year. All of the food collected at Can the Griz remains in the Gallatin Valley and is used to support our friends, neighbors, and children in need.

This friendly competition begins on Saturday, November 7 and ends on Saturday, November 21 (after the first quarter of the Bobcat/Griz football game). There are many donation events. For more information and a schedule, visit montana.edu/engagement/events-programs/can-the-griz/
