Americans For Prosperity Montana are presenting a FREE workshop on How to Build A Successful Career on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at Montana State University. Hear from two of the most successful CEO's in Gallatin and Park County discuss what it takes to build a successful career, found out what types of jobs are available in Montana and how to prepare and qualify for them.

Montana Parent Magazine is hosting the 5th annaul Kids' Halloween Costume Swap at the Gallatin Valley Mall this Saturday, Oct. 10. Bring your clean, gently used children’s Halloween costumes from past years and exchange them for others.

Montana State University and Bobcat Athletics are sponsoring a promotion to coincide with breast cancer awareness month. The third annual “Cap on Cancer” features a limited edition pink and blue Under Armour Bobcat hat available for purchase, will all proceeds benefiting Cancer Support Community. Individuals who do so are urged to wear the hat to all Bobcat athletic events on October 10.

The Museum of the Rockies will continue its Extreme History Project lecture series on Thursday, Oct. 22 with "Summoning the Dead in the West: Spiritualism in 19th Century Montana." Marsha Fulton will be the speaker. It's FREE to the public.

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Region 3 Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) will meet in Bozeman on Thursday, October 1 at the FWP Regional Office in Bozeman on Thursday, October 1. The CAC provides input and guidance to the Department on many of the natural resource and management issues addressed by FWP in southwest Montana. All meetings are open to the public.

As part of the Bozeman Parks & Recreation Department's Pickin' in the Parks series, 'Learning to Play in an Open Jam - Slow Jam' lessons will be offered the first Tuesday of every month (starting in October)...and they're free!
