Come on out to 406 Brewing Company on Wednesday, Jan. 20 from 5 - 8 p.m. for a Pennies for Peace benefit! Food and drink specials as well as a portion of the night's proceeds will go to Central Asia Institute's "Pennies for Peace" fundraising campaign.

National parks throughout the country will commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 18. All national parks will provide free admission and many parks will host special events or volunteer service projects. Details here:

Modern skijoring combines Montana’s signature ski heritage with its cowboy roots into a wild, entertaining, fast paced, event. Competitors race for cash and prizes based on the fastest combined times for the two day event as well as the fastest time each day. Montana State University and the Martin Luther King Day Organizing Committee will sponsor a PechaKucha-style MLK Day celebration on Tuesday, January 19, at the Emerson Cultural Center’s Crawford Theater. The event is free and open to the public.
