Apparently, the University of Montana is sick of losing to Montana State University each year in the annual Can the Griz Food Drive. Laurynn Olson, program coordinator in the MSU Office of Activities and Engagement, said that we are falling behind. More donations are needed by this Saturday (Nov. 21). Every can matters!
Small Business Saturday, which takes place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Don't forget to visit historic downtown Bozeman on Saturday, Nov. 28 and give back to our economy.

Bozeman Schools Foundation will host a Santa Run for Education on Christmas Stroll Day, Dec. 5. Proceeds from this 5k race will fund Spark Grants, Literacy Programs & Scholarships in the Bozeman, Belgrade and Manhattan Public Schools.

The 16th annual Can the Griz Food Drive takes place on Saturday, Nov. 7 through Saturday, Nov. 21. Although it is a friendly off-field competition between Montana State University and the University of Montana to see which community can collect the most donations for their local food banks, we are very proud to hold a lead of 14 - 1 because our friends and neighbors in need are the real winners.
