What they got, you gotta give it to your mama . . . and you can do it during the halftime show of Super Bowl XLVIII, when the Red Hot Chili Peppers take the stage for one of their first live performances of 2014.
Most stints in rehab take place secretly, or at the very least privately. Then there was Eric Clapton’s famed Rainbow Concert, which served as an all-too-public, one-night cold turkey of sorts proclaiming the legendary guitarist's resurgence from the dire depths of heroin addiction – goosed along by some well-intentioned celebrity friends.
As Bruce Springsteen prepares to tour behind his forthcoming album, ‘High Hopes,’ his management is considering adding a new facet to the Springsteen concert experience. Jon Landau says that they are looking into the possibility of offering downloads of every concert.
A two-hour Beatles tribute, "The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles", will tape on January 27, 2014 (the day after the Grammys) and air on February 9, 2014. Some details have just leaked on who will be performing:
The Winterland Ballroom, where scores of memorable live albums and movies were recorded, went out in style on Dec. 31, 1978. The Grateful Dead headlined a farewell concert that stretched out for more than eight hours -- with Jerry Garcia and band playing a stunning six of them.
Metallica recently became the first major music act to perform in Antarctica with their "Freeze 'Em All" show. There were only 120 people inside the dome with them, which consisted of winners from a South American sweepstakes and a handful of scientists from all over the world. Check it out:
Bozeman has a long history of getting great live music from bands BEFORE they become huge and such was the case with The Donnas back in 2000. This video of the performance just popped up on YouTube just recently. Check it out!

In support of the new self titled album, Jerry Joseph will be playing live in Livingston, MT for two nights. Friday and Saturday December 20th and 21st at The Mint Bar, located at 102 North Main Street.
