Modern skijoring combines Montana’s signature ski heritage with its cowboy roots into a wild, entertaining, fast paced, event. Competitors race for cash and prizes based on the fastest combined times for the two day event as well as the fastest time each day. Apparently, the University of Montana is sick of losing to Montana State University each year in the annual Can the Griz Food Drive. Laurynn Olson, program coordinator in the MSU Office of Activities and Engagement, said that we are falling behind. More donations are needed by this Saturday (Nov. 21). Every can matters!
