A flood warning continues until further notice for the Gallatin River near Logan. Ice jams are to blame for the warning. As of now the river is at 8.8 feet and flood stage is 9 feet. This video demonstrates a "river tsunami" on the Gallatin from earlier this winter.

The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission is seeking public comment on the proposed Fishing Access Site (FAS) Annual Rule. The Trust for Public Land announced today that they have secured an option from American Bank to purchase a 61-acre property near the old Story Mill in Bozeman with the hope of eventually selling it to the City for the creation of a new park. Residents can voice their opinion here:
