I guess Halloween season is here. Starting today, a new flavor of Halloween Oreos is on sale exclusively at Target. They're vanilla oreos combined with a classic Halloween candy, and I'm pretty sure 5 out of 5 dentists would not recommend them. Would you eat these?:
I sure hope this is a promo for a haunted house in the Gallatin Valley, but I'm not entirely sure. Either way it's a good reminder that haunted house season ISN'T that far away!
I ventured down Main Street for all of this year's Halloween fun in downtown Bozeman. If you missed it, check out these pictures I took. Once again Bozeman's finest kept the streets safe for the little ones, as they gathered goodies at all the downtown businesses....who put on a happy, spooky face!
Anyone can dawn the mask or costume of an iconic character for Halloween, but it takes true dedication to really embody your new identity. What does it take to really 'be' Ron Burgundy? How do you convince someone you are the 'Last Action Hero'? Here is my list of five iconic characters that require more than just an outfit to pull off. Have a happy, safe
The folks at ‘Today’ offered up a gallery of spectacularly bad Halloween photos culled from the Awkward Family Photos website.
There’s nothing wrong with homemade Halloween costumes per se, but these are simply unforgivable (and unintentionally scary).
Yesterday we showed you a video of a Chihuahua decked out to look like a tiny tank for Halloween. Today is all about the poodle. While tank dog seemed fairly pleased with his heavily armored get-up, we’re not as sure about how this standard poodle feels about being dyed green and dressed like ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’ Leonardo.
Still don’t have a costume for Halloween? You might want to hurry since the big day is less than a week away.
To help out a little, TV.com has a bunch of ideas for costumes inspired by TV characters. Some are kinda lame (going as Barney from ‘How I Met Your Mother’ means you’re basically just a dude in a nice suit), but there are some you could have fun with. In addition to ‘The Walking Dead’ (above), here are the five best we found from the list.
An interesting proposal was recently made by a Connecticut (home state shout out) lawmaker, who suggested changing the date of Halloween. He wants his state (and hopefully the whole country) to move Halloween, so that it falls on the last Saturday in October. I don't know, I'm personally thinking it's not a bad idea. Thanksgiving isn't a set date either and that works great. What do you think?
If you're like me, you want a good, original costume (nothing worse than bumping into the same character at a Halloween get-together). These might be some costumes to avoid for Halloween 2011.
What’s cuter than a cat named Jumbo Pillow eating pumpkin strips while dressed in a pumpkin costume? Honestly, nothing. But if you don’t believe us, feel free to take a look for yourself.
Desert Rose in Belgrade is having their 3rd annual Haunted House from October 28-31 to support the KidsPack Program at Heck/Quaw Elementary, which provides weekend food for families in need. In addition, they're having a family movie night this Saturday, October 29th where they'll play a kid-friendly movie at no cost!
