In the wake of the IOC's recent recommendation that wrestling be pulled from the Olympics beginning in 2020, an overwhelming outcry of support has surfaced from the wrestling community. I think this video, presented by Wrestling With Iowa, best sums up the benefits of the sport and why removing it from the international stage would hurt us as a society. Rene Rancourt has been singing the National Anthem before Boston Bruins home games for the last 37 years. He decided to take a back seat last night before the Bruins' first home game since the Boston Marathon tragedy on Monday. He sang the first few lines before the crowd overpowered him.
