A little folk, a little rock, a little Americana, and a whole lot of cool is what you'll get on Sunday night at The ELM on North 7th with Fruit Bats. This show is another do-not-miss, especially if you've never seen them live.

As of this writing, I have not been there yet but everyone else I know has. Have you ever heard of The Sassy Biscuit Company? You'll find it in Billings and yes...it's apparently worth an overnight if you don't live there. For those of us who take our breakfasts and brunches seriously, this joint is church.

If you love to eat out AND love a good bargain, Restaurant Weeks are something you're familiar with. Downtown Bozeman has announced that April 24th will kick off Bozeman Restaurant Week 2023.

The Bozeman area is packed with great restaurants and the industry can be cutthroat for attracting business. However, we discovered some reviews online that only reinforce the notion of "go see for yourself" and "don't believe everything you read".

We often joke that Bozeman tends to be a black hole for "high tier" Montana Lottery winners, but that streak was broken this month as as Bozeman got a lucky winner of $75K. (A 'high tier' winner is a prize of more than $600.)

It's next to impossible to find an accurate national average cost for full-time preschool, but you'll see numbers ranging from $8k to $15k and the Bozeman area is definitely at the top of that range. High rates, teacher shortages, insane waiting lists, and many closure days (that you'll still pay for) make for a mind-blowing parent experience.

It's not rare in Montana for a business to have an office dog, but I FINALLY got to meet the crown jewel of animal employees - Axle the cat at Belgrade Sales & Service. I had been told about Axle many times...the popular mascot amongst wonderful (human) employees and a vast selection of lawn mowers and chainsaws.

Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center has a parking problem and it seems like there's a super simple solution that nobody talks about. On any given weekday, you'll find cars slowly navigating isle after isle hoping for a parking space remotely close to the building they need to enter.
