March 14, 2012 Just about everyone in the music world (including our very own Michelle Wolfe) has once again descended upon SXSW in Austin, TX, one of the largest music, film, and interactive showcases in the world. Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins had some very interesting things to say from Austin a couple days ago.
March 13, 2012 That's right, Dee Snider (former front-man of Twisted Sister) is taking on broadway classics. Dee Does Broadway is coming out on May 8th. It sounds interesting. There will be some interesting cameos, that's for sure. See who will be on the album and listen to his version of "Cabaret" here:
March 11, 2012 What a pleasure it is to have Jim in the studio. He is a kinsman in his love of music and arrives prepared for epic shows. Yes, he arrives ready to put on not only one show, but two or three. I truly appreciate his enthusiasm and his ability to show me new things that have been off my radar up till this point. H
March 10, 2012 I don't know of many local bands who can pack The Emerson for a two night stand, but Pinky and the Floyd sure did. And they've done it before. Folks who caught the show(s) know not only how good this group is but what FUN they are to see live.
March 9, 2012 Guns N' Roses will be inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame on April 14th. Just a couple questions remain. Can we expect the original members to actually reunite for a performance, or even all show up at all?

March 8, 2012 It's my annual crazy musical mecca to Texas...SXSW. I've got a way bigger list of things I'd advise a 1st timer to the nuttiness, but this video is a good start. I've been there about a dozen times and this year I get to bring a 1st timer. God help him.
