Seattle will be well represented whenever Heart enters the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month. It was previously revealed that Soundgarden's Chris Cornell would induct the classic rock band, and now it has been announced that fellow Seattle music vets Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains and guitarist Mike McCready from Pearl Jam will perform with Heart at the induction ceremony.

Brother Ali, a strong, gifted political voice in Hip Hop, stopped by Cactus Records yesterday before his show at the Zebra Cocktail Lounge for a free in-store performance. Ali, who is signed to the independent label Rhymesayers Entertainment, stressed the importance of supporting endangered independently owned record stores, such as Cactus, before signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd recently revealed he was finishing up work on his second solo album, but he's not the only member of the band staying busy during the group's hiatus. Guitarist Mike Einziger has landed a pair of high profile guest turns -- working with Pearl Jam on their new album and with Hans Zimmer on the score for 'The Lone Ranger' film.

If you thought yesterday's posting of a Nine Inch Nails documentary from the mid-90s was nostalgic bliss, your mind is about the be blown. You're about to slide down the rainbow and belly-flop into a huge pot of gold, as a 39-minute rehearsal recording, titled 'The Pablo Cuckoo Tape,' from the Smiths has surfaced online. Drummer Mike Joyce even tweeted about the unearthed gems -- posted by an anonymous user -- and said that he thought he was the only one who collects such classic and "lost" material.
