April 18, 2013 Surveillance camera stills have been released of the suspects in the Boston bombing that occurred on Monday, April 15th. See the photos inside. The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying the individuals but asks to not approach them.
In case you missed it, the ever-horrible Westboro Baptist Church announced they would be picketing at the funerals of the people who died in the Boston Marathon bombing. The church, if you don't know, likes to go around to funerals and say that God hates America for allowing gay marriage, and the death that attendees are mourning is just his wrath. It's basically the definition of awful. Well, the "hacktivist" group Anonymous was having none of it.
April 18, 2013 Rene Rancourt has been singing the National Anthem before Boston Bruins home games for the last 37 years. He decided to take a back seat last night before the Bruins' first home game since the Boston Marathon tragedy on Monday. He sang the first few lines before the crowd overpowered him. An explosion in West, TX, just outside of Waco, spread fires across multiple buildings and injured an unknown number of people earlier tonight.
The explosion occurred at the West Fertilizer Plant shortly before 8 PM CT
2:45 p.m. (EST): The Boston Police Department has announced that "there has not been an arrest in the Marathon attack." Investigations are ongoing.
2:35 p.m.: CNN is retracting their previous report that an arrest has been made in the Boston Marathon bombings. Other sources are reporting that officials are close to identifying a suspect after reviewing area surveillance video, but no arrests have been made.
1:10 p.m. (EST): A third letter, this one sent to Senator Joe Manchin (D.-W.V.), has been found to contain ricin.
12:45 p.m. (EST): FBI spokesman Paul Bresson has confirmed that the substance found in the letter to the president was ricin.
The Secret Service says that a letter containing a suspicious substance and addressed to President Obama was received on Tuesday at a White House mail facility. This comes just after a letter sent to Senator Roger Wicker (R.-Miss.) was found to contain the poison ricin.
None of the Montana runners participating in the Boston Marathon were injured when two explosions rocked the area near the finish line, but several were nearby.

April 15, 2013 The country was shocked this afternoon when reports came in of explosions at the Boston Marathon. We watched the devastating aftermath with confusion, hope, and extreme sadness for those injured. Responders rushed to the scene to aid dozens of injured athletes and bystanders. This annual race is a national gathering which included 41 athletes from Montana.

At least 14 people at Lone Star College's CyFair Campus were wounded today (Tuesday) in a mass stabbing incident. Early reports are saying the suspect stabbed the victims with an X-Acto knife. The school was put on lockdown, and the suspect has been apprehended
