January 5, 2012 I'm a huge fan of Girl Scout cookies. I buy the popcorn when a Boy Scout shows up at my door, but only to donate. The Girl Scouts get more money because of the unbelievable product they have (I don't like popcorn, sorry Boy Scouts of America). I'm a little pumped to try a new cookie this season when the Girl Scouts unveil Savannah Smiles!
January 3, 2012 The holiday season from late November right into January is great. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, it's all gravy...and turkey, and cookies, and chocolate. I love the holiday season but it's a lot of indulgence. It's extra food, alcohol, and (dare I say) giving. It leaves you a bit exhausted. I'm kind of over it all, including the gift giving. Why shimmy Valentine's Day into February?
January 3, 2012 My wife and I came across this bread awhile back that we both love called Dave's Killer Bread. We used to find it at Albertson's, but they quickly stopped carrying it. Rosauers had it for a small amount of time before, yet again, this heavenly bread was taken from us. When I recently found the killer stuff again at the new Safeway in town I seriously yelled out loud in sheer joy.
December 31, 2011 I really nestled our family inside the snow globe this holiday season. What I mean is, our home became sort of a Christmas bubble (someone was drinking too much of the egg nog).
December 29, 2011 2012 is almost upon us, which means "the best of" lists are almost over. I do wish I could put together a "Best Books of 2011" list.

December 26, 2011 I was born and raised on the other side of the country, where my family and a lot of friends still reside, so I don't have many loved ones here in Montana. That has created a whole new holiday experience for me and my wife (who is in the same boat).

December 12, 2011 The Holiday season is all about giving. I think we should all try to donate whatever we can..our time, money, food, etc. Let's address that second one for a moment. Money. It really can be the root of all evil. Did we not learn anything from A Christmas Carol?
December 9, 2011 Sure it's immature sexist banter but guys can't help it. Men's Health just released a '100 Hottest Women of All Time' list. ALL TIME here guys, what do you think? Jennifer Aniston? The list wasn't that sexist, they claimed to use several criteria (not just looks). Men's Health determined Aniston to be the hottest woman of all time based on her looks, her sense of humor, and because she appears to be real. I gotta say, they make a good argument.
December 9, 2011 I don't check Twitter everyday but I like to logon every now and then to quickly scroll through my follower's tweets. Twitter is not exactly a source for news. What I like are funny one-liners to lighten a particular mood. That's why I mainly follow comedians, and comedian Sarah Silverman is always good for hilarity in 140 characters or less.
