The Many Benefits Of Summer In Bozeman

With summer now officially underway, let me count the ways. This season is just so good for the mind and body (soak in that vitamin D while using the outdoors as your gym people). And my good people of Montana, don't forget the sunscreen (it's been a long winter once again)

Poetry. If Someone Doesn’t Understand It, Just Tell Them It’s Poetry

Poetry anyone? Well you might not find it here but I'm putting a clumsy attempt at it out there today. I'm totally prepared to keep my day job, no worries.

Answers For All Surround The Gallatin Valley, I’m Sure Of It

I don't know if it's been the weather lately or a lack of sleep, but I've needed some restored energy. I've been a little uninspired lately and when that happens I usually need a creative outlet or a little bit of nature to redirect life's perspective (or dare I say purpose?). Well, we're in the right place for the latter so yesterday I got outside and got back in touch.

Inspirational Thought Of The Day – 5/25/11

Let me start by admitting, this isn't going to be some original wise proverb. I'm not gonna claim my random thought today (or any other day for that matter) to be extraordinarily thought provoking. Just something simple that you've probably pondered before. Well let us ponder again today my friends, it's good pondering weather.

Wisconsin Man Achieves World Record By Consuming 25,000 Big Macs

Back on May 17th, 1972, Don Gorske of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin went to McDonald's and ate his first Big Mac. He's eaten at least one every single day since. Yesterday, on the 39th anniversary of his first Big Mac, 57 year old Don just ate his 25,000th

Life, Can We Look To The Stars?

Do you think astrology is complete and utter nonsense or does it hold some cosmic weight? Do you think horoscopes are silly yet still check them anyway? I like to sometimes check mine and if I can find some enlightenment in that day's reading, something maybe I can strive for that day, it's a win. Call it motivation, a little daily challenge, or something to do.

Facebook Friend Request Purgatory

UPDATE: STILL NOT FRIENDS WITH TOM JORDAN - This is going to come out wrong but I don't 'friend request' a lot of people. I don't have to because I have enough Facebook friends. Who the hell actually knows 1,300+ people? However, when someone I KNOW...someone I WORK WITH....someone I SHARE AN OFFICE WITH...someone who's FRIENDS WITH COMPETING RADIO STATIONS' staff members doesn't respond to a 'friend request' from me: I take stock and try to remember what I did to piss them off.

Don’t Forget Where The Heart Is

Moving to Montana (almost 4 years ago) meant leaving family 2300 miles behind. As much as I love living here, that can be difficult at times. And that realization hits you at unpredictable times, not just during traditional family holidays. So this year, I decided to return home for Easter. With Christmas and Thanksgiving getting all the family love, I don't want to forget what quality time with family does for your Easter Sunday.

Summer Camp, Memories To Last A Lifetime

I'm returning home to the east coast later this week, as it's been too long. I haven't been back to Connecticut in 2 years. It's gonna be great to stay with my parents and pretend I'm a kid again (Mom, be prepared to prepare meals and I will ask to use the car). As the trip home nears, I've been thinking a lot about  my childhood and all the experiences that have led me to this point in my life.

CrossFit: A Workout That Works For Me

I've played sports my entire life, as I enjoy competing and staying physically active. I am one of those people that need to go to the gym for my own sanity. I've tried many workouts along the way, everything from power lifting to crafting my own workouts by reading Muscle & Fitness. They all required at least an hour of my time each gym trip. That is, until I found CrossFit.
