Hey, kiddie pools are important in the summer heat. As an expert in this arena, I thought I'd share some tips and tricks to getting the most out of your kiddie pool in Montana. Keeping those plastic saviors clean and fun to use takes a little maintenance.

E.coli bacteria and harmful algal bloom toxins have been detected in various bodies of water around Gallatin County, with three Caution Advisories being issued so far. Some of the most popular recreational sites in the county are being affected and it's important to pay attention to any posted signage.

We all know that pollinators are in trouble, but one (super cute) endangered species is in BIG trouble in Montana. There's a particular bumble bee that is cartoonishly adorable, but it's also on the 'critically endangered' list.

Bozeman will never agree on fireworks, and it has always been this way. Whether they were "allowed" or not, people love them or hate them. We've discussed it many times. This year with a clear fireworks ban from the City of Bozeman, some residents are really not thrilled and they have thoughts.

The cycle of warmer temperatures and afternoon showers and thunderstorms are prompting many Flood Watches across central Montana. Creeks, streams, and rivers are all at risk of flooding on Wednesday - travelers and recreationists are urged to use caution.

Keep vigilant this afternoon as storm cells move into the area again with over an inch of rain possible in some locations of southwest Montana including Gallatin County. Hail and gusty winds are expected along with these storms.

With nice weather, sometimes you just need a minute. Or a good place to eat your lunch away from the office. I've got a few spots that are really easy to get to and satisfy that urge to be alone for a short bit.

With more heavy rains expected from Bozeman to Forsyth, city drainages along with rural creeks and streams are in danger of flooding through at least Friday night. Keep a keen eye on storm drains within city limits, as flooding/deep pooling can happen quickly.

It's that time of year - spring rainfall and the last of mountain snowmelt combine for flooding conditions on Montana rivers. The Jefferson River is now under a Flood Advisory.

Bozeman loves to be different. It also loves anything retro. There's a new transportation method that hits both qualities and we're betting you'll be seeing it on Bozeman streets sometime soon. A two person bike, anyone?

This might be the most "Montana" festival we've ever heard of, and it's happening June 23rd through 25th. Celebrating ranching and land stewardship, the weekend will be packed with Americana music, expert guest speakers, vendors, and chef curated wood-fired food in Helmville, Montana.

Very unhealthy air is blowing into Montana from Canada, with Dense Smoke Advisories being issued on Wednesday for several counties in northeast Montana.
