This really just made our week, no joke.
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl delivered the keynote speech at SXSW 2013 earlier today (March 14), covering a wide range of topics during his hour-long chat, including Nirvana, his ‘Sound City’ documentary and his surprising love for the Psy YouTube hit ‘Gangnam Style.’
Adidas and Google revealed a new talking sneaker prototype at the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas last weekend. The motion-sensing kicks feature a speaker on the tongue that can make commands, give encouragement and post online status updates based on what the wearer is — or isn't — doing while wearing the shoes.
At this point, Depeche Mode songs pretty much write themselves -- lust, obsession, redemption, repeat -- and onstage, given the band's reliance on prerecorded synth sounds, they could probably play themselves, too. But during Monday night's (March 11) 'Live on Letterman' taping, an hourlong performance shot at the Ed Sullivan Theater and webcast live via CBS and VEVO, the Mode steered clear of autopilot, proving why, after 30-something years, they're still the slinkiest, sexiest electro-gospel pop outfit this planet full of sinners has ever known. Diffuser.fm was there, and we reached out and touched faith.
Back in September, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong had an onstage meltdown during Green Day's set at the iHeartRadio concert in Las Vegas. Soon after, he entered rehab to battle alcohol and prescription drug addiction, forcing the band to cancel their remaining 2012 dates and to postpone their winter 2013 gigs.

How’d you like to wake up with the knowledge that you've been shot in the head? Yeah, that would suck, but what if the bullet that was stuck in your skull triggered some pretty cool supernatural powers? Yeah, now we’re talkin’! That’s what happens to the protagonist in ‘Bullet Head,’ an awesome new short film directed by Franco Movsesian. We love it so much, we think Movsesian needs to turn this five minute short into a feature film. Actually, we’ve got a list of five sweet short films that would make great feature-length movies. Check ‘em out.
Heath Kufahl and his wife were at an Oklahoma City Thunder game and were picked to compete at halftime against another couple for a chance to win $20,000. Well, in the first round, Heath and his wife made more shots than the other couple. Beating that couple is what gave Heath the chance at the half-court shot.
Do you see the ball hover just before Jamal Crawford passed=sthe ball between his legs? I think he is some sort of sorcerer and realized at the last second not to demonstrate his abilities in front of so many people and cameras. That's when he decided to grab the floating orange orb, pass it between his legs and lob it up for an oop to Blake Griffin.
The events in this video reportedly occurred at the Sydney Mardi Gras parade. A press photographer was wrapping up filming the parade when he heard someone crying for help. What he found was a relatively small male being manhandled, punched, and thrown around by police. Is it right how they acted? Caution the video is contains mature language and violence.
