The "Spring Forward, Fall Back" tradition continues this weekend as Daylight Saving ends at 2am on Sunday morning.

Unless you're planning on being wide awake in the middle of the night, it's easiest to set your clocks BACK one hour on Saturday night before you go to bed.

(I'm not a big fan of Daylight Saving...we're not getting ANY extra time out of it and I still have to wake up at 4:30am!)

  • Before the end of daylight saving time, the sunrise is around 8 a.m. with the sunset near 6:30 p.m.
  • After Nov. 4, the sunset is around 5:30 p.m.
  • By Dec. 21 (the winter solstice) we will only have about 9 hours and 21 minutes of daylight. The sunset that day is around 5:15 p.m.
