Breathe a sigh of relief, folks. Dennis Quaid is actually not that scary — in fact, his epic meltdown that made waves on Tuesday (April 14) was totally fake.

On Wednesday (April 15), comedy website Funny or Die released the full video — and boy, are we relieved that Dennis isn't that kind of monster IRL. The clip puts the scene in context by showing what happened before the meltdown. We see Dennis getting prepped in hair and makeup, then the camera moves to the set, where you see the entire picture: For example, "Dopey the dick" is a guy dressed up as a, well... Watch the video and see for yourself. It's all very on-the-nose. So yeah, Jimmy Kimmel wasn't to blame after all.

Honestly, we're pretty happy to hear that the guy who played Lindsay Lohan's lovable dad in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trip isn't actually the guy who said: “I am acting here and this d---head wanders onto my set. I can’t even get a line out until dopey the d--- starts whispering in your ear and you’re not even watching anymore. …. Don’t f---ing ‘Dennis’ me! I am doing my job here! I am a pro! This is the most unprofessional set I have ever been on. This is horses---! I’ve got these f---ing zombies over here that I have to look at. I have a bunch of p------ staring at me and this f---ing baby. This is garbage!”
