How would you like to make a difference in someone's life and ski for free? Eagle Mount Bozeman is looking for some intermediate skiers/snowboarders and above to volunteer for their Nordic and Alpine Ski Programs. Details here:

Eagle Mount Bozeman's Nordic and Alpine Ski Programs provide therapeutic recreation to people with developmental and physical disabilities and children with cancer. They are seeking people who want to share their passion for snow sports by teaching skiing or snowboarding to participants. The Bridger Bowl Ski program needs around 250 volunteers for 8 weeks, beginning mid-January and ending mid-March. The Big Sky program starts scheduling volunteers during the holiday season and beyond.

New volunteers are asked to attend a New Volunteer Training and On Hill Training. Volunteers will be taught about disability awareness and given instruction on how to work with people with varying disabilities. Potential volunteers for the ski programs need to be intermediate skiers/snowboarders and above. You will receive a ski pass for the days you volunteer with the program.

To get signed up you'll need to fill out a volunteer application. Follow the "How to Apply" steps to fill out the application and complete the background check. For the ski program, you'll need to fill out the skier registration form as well. For general questions please call 586-1781.
