Additional Information

A boiling cauldron of symphonic spookiness, ghoulish melodies and eerie sounds awaits in this fun evening complete with hair-raising tricks and thrilling musical treats. We’ve concocted the program-potion from some of the most magical music ever written and will introduce you to violinist Emily Young, winner of the 2015 Montana Association of Symphony Orchestras Young Artist Competition. Audience members are strongly encouraged to dress in costume to help create the perfect otherworldly atmosphere for this Symphonic Spooktacular.
BOO!

Frightful selections include Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky, Funeral March of a Marionette by Gounod, Hansel & Gretel: Hexenritt (Witch’s Ride) by Humperdinck, L’apprenti socier (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice) by Dukas & Harry’s Wonderous World by John Williams, among others.

These performances would not be possible without strong community support and sponsorship. The Halloween Spooktacular concert weekend is sponsored by Chico Hot Springs Resort & Day Spa, Mike & Eve Art, and Northwest Farm Credit Services. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.bozemansymphony.org, or by phone at 585-9774. Adult tickets range from $27.00-$67.00.
