Additional Information

Bozeman, September 2015 – The Bozeman Symphony begins their 48th concert season with a virtual kaleidoscope of symphonic virtuosity. After a two-year leave to pursue a Master’s Degree at Juilliard (on full-scholarship mind you!), the Symphony welcomes back to Bozeman Concert¬master Carrie Krause by showcasing her magnificent artistry as featured soloist in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. Known as our greatest orchestrator, Rimsky-Korsakov puts the orchestra on display as well with some of the most spectacular moments in the history of symphonic music.

The Symphony is also thrilled to introduce the extraordinary virtuosity of Taiwanese sensation, and winner of the 12th Arthur Rubenstein International Piano Competition, Ching-Yun Hu, performing Tchaikovsky’s monumental 1st piano concerto-EPIC!

Performances will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 20 at 2:30 p.m. at Willson Auditorium, Downtown Bozeman.

These performances would not be possible without strong community support and sponsorship. This concert weekend is sponsored by Iris M.L. Model/Indian Uprising Gallery, Denis & Barbara Prager and Dori McTigue. Purchase a season subscription today and save up to 40% - new subscriber discounts available. Individual tickets are available for purchase online at www.bozemansymphony.org after September 1st or by phone at 585-9774. Adult tickets range from $27-$67. Student discounts are available.
