Kyma Conference to Feature Computer Music and Film at MSU

More than 50 pioneers in electronic and computer music will be visiting MSU in early August to showcase collaborations with local filmmakers. This international community of composers and performers all use a computer sound design language called Kyma. Many of the composers were paired with local film faculty and students by MSU film professor Theo Lipfert. The result is a four-day symposium, KISS2015: Picturing Sound. Live performances open to the public will be held in the Black Box Theatre on the MSU-Bozeman campus August 9th through the 12th. Performances are free and start at 5:00 PM.
