After Spring, a film from Executive Producer Jon Stewart, addresses the ongoing refugee crisis in Syria. It highlights the millions of people who continue to be displaced and tells the story of what happens next. Join us for a screening and brief post-viewing discussion. Sponsored by Gallatin Valley Interfaith Association and the Bozeman Public Library.

Healthcare & the Mediterranean Refugee Crisis

Community Cafe, 302 N. 7th Avenue, Bozeman
Join us for an evening of Mediterranean cuisine and a discussion about the global refugee dynamic with a focus on health care in refugee camps. The Community Cafe will serve a Syrian inspired meal from 5 - 7 p.m. followed by a presentation at 7 p.m. led by Dr. Katie Woods, a Bozeman-based family physician working at the Montana State University student health service. Over the past 2 years, Dr Woods has provided medical care to refugees fleeing the Syrian civil war in Lesvos, Greece and northern Jordan. Dr. Woods will discuss her work and the perspectives of the refugees she met in this humanitarian crisis.
