Experience The Old West At This Year’s Wild West WinterFest!

It's that time of year again! The 10th Annual Winterfest is taking place at the Gallatin Valley Fairgrounds on Saturday & Sunday, February 18th & 19th. Check out the full 2012 schedule here.

There are a ton of events on the schedule this year, including some old favorites like the Quilt Show, the Chili Cook-Off, and the Dog Keg Pull. There will also be some new things to look forward to! Experience the Old West with an 1840's Western Rendezvous Encampment with activities and demonstrations in the midway. Also look for The Montana Heritage Commission's 1860's Living History with historic interpreters and interactive exhibits in Exhibit Building 3.

There will be plenty of food at various food vendor booths and fun things to buy at the commercial exhibitor booths. Don't forget about the Bootleggers Ball with live music from The Dirty Shame, as well as other western entertainment.
