After wowing fans in the Los Angeles area with a guest list that included Perry Farrell, Chris Chaney, Stevie Nicks, Jack Black, the members of Haim, Gary Clark Jr. and Yes' Jon Davison, Foo Fighters welcomed Jewel upon relocating to Phoenix.

The songstress showed off her pipes at the concert, blasting a cover of the Led Zeppelin classic "Whole Lotta Love" with the band. According to a posting on her Instagram account, the singer had gone from her own gig to the Foo Fighters show in the same night, which is why her appearance came late in the evening.

As can be heard in the fan shot video above, Dave Grohl states, "We thought we should do a song together, so we picked some nice things that we thought would sound good and then she says to me, 'I don't wanna do that.' She says, 'I wanna do this,'" At that point, Grohl played the opening guitar lick of "Whole Lotta Love" and the performance took off from there.

After the performance, Jewel posted the following shot and comment to her Instagram account.

Who will the Foos bring out next? The band rolls through Albuquerque and Oklahoma City this coming week, with shows in Atlanta, Nashville and Memphis set to kick off October. See their full itinerary here.
