Glacier Park Airport, along with several other small airports around the state of Montana will get the funding for much needed upgrades.

Senator Steve Daines today announced nearly $4 million in funding for critical construction and maintenance needs at Glacier Park International Airport.

The Department of Transportation’s $3,986,340 grant will fund a full-depth reconstruction of the airport’s existing runway, as well as the rehabilitation of the runway’s lighting system.

There is also nearly $28 million for six other Montana airports including: Circle Town County Airport, Dawson Community Airport (Glendive), Woltermann Memorial Airport (Columbus), Lewistown Municipal Airport, Sidney-Richland Municipal Airport and Yellowstone Airport (West Yellowstone).
