The Yellowstone Ecosystem Subcommittee (YES) of the Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (IGBC) will hold its fall meeting in Bozeman on November 6 - 7 and invites the public to attend. Wildlife managers will discuss current population numbers, how mothers and cubs are faring, how the animals are spreading and if they're running into trouble with humans.

The agencies that help manage grizzly bear recovery will present their annual conflict reports, according to a statement released by the committee. The Yellowstone ecosystem grizzly bear recovery area includes all of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, as well as portions of northwest Wyoming, eastern Idaho, and southwest Montana.

The meeting will take place in the Larkspur Room of the Hilton Garden Inn in Bozeman (2023 Commerce Way). The meeting will be from 1 - 5 pm on Wednesday, November 6. Proceedings will resume on Thursday, November 7 from 8 am - noon. The public is welcome to attend all sessions. Time for public comments will be included at the end of each day.
