Have You Heard of GOTYE’s Old Band ‘The Basics’?

As with any worldwide known musician, the man behind GOTYE, Wouter "Wally" De Backer, was once in a smaller much less known band. The band is called The Basics and Wally was on the drums and also did lead and backup vocals. Crazy to think he went from being the man in back to the man in front of the world with his hit song, 'Someone That I Used to Know.'
