What That Amazing Chipotle ‘Scarecrow’ Ad Was Really Saying

Hey guys, just a friendly reminder that that gorgeously animated ad from Chipotle was still an ad, courtesy of this send-up from Funny or Die.

Once you get past the whole “person trying to sing like Fiona Apple” thing (It’s not happening. It will never happen. It’s okay.), this version of the spot is pretty on point. So don’t go letting your burrito give you too many good feelings just yet. Or their tacos. Or their blessed, blessed guacamole. Gllaaaaaarrgh.

And in case you missed it, here’s the original Chipotle ad starring the world’s saddest organic farmer scarecrow. Cheer up, buddy! At least those robot crow things aren’t tearing you apart.
