On Thursday, October 15 from 7 - 9 p.m., members of the local and regional hunting community will gather at Schnee’s in downtown Bozeman for a discussion on hunter ethics and the future of hunting in Montana. This event is free and open to the public.

Hunt Right is administered by the Region 3 Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC) for Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks. According to a press release from MT FWP,

Refreshments will be provided at this event, and a prize raffle will send one lucky attendee home with a lever-action .22 rifle, among other items. The Hunt Right campaign will also screen its new video, which will appear on television stations around southwest Montana throughout the general big-game rifle season. Guest speakers will share their insights on how ethics shape the image of hunters and their future as an essential part of Montana’s outdoor lifestyle.
