Hunters and Those in the Outdoors Reminded to Turn in Poachers
Mt Fish Wildlife & Parks would like to remind anyone who acquires information regarding a wildlife or state lands crime to report it. Poaching is a statewide problem that robs law-abiding citizens of opportunities to see and legally harvest those animals. Assist FWP by reporting any suspected poaching activity. Rewards up to $1,000 are granted and your identity will remain confidential. Here's how:
Over the years, hunters in Montana have helped FWP restore elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, and other game animals. If you're interested in conservation, please help them protect our wildlife from poachers.
Through FWP's TIP-MONT Program, concerned individuals can report anyone they suspect of hunting illegally. Since the program began in 1985, FWP has received thousands of calls, many resulting in wardens catching and judges convicting poachers. If you see or learn about any illegal or suspicious hunting activity, simply call 1-800-TIP-MONT. Rewards up to $1,000. Your identity will remain confidential.
