Children and their families are invited to attend "Frankenscience", a Halloween-inspired FREE event that will include scientific demonstrations of exploding pumpkins, liquid nitrogen ice cream, morphing orange juice and much more:

Frankenscience is a free event that will be held from 1 - 3 pm Sunday, October 27, on the second floor of Gaines Hall at Montana State University.

Sponsored by MSU's Undergraduate Chemistry Society, Frankenscience will offer safe demonstrations of "wonderful color and amazing science," according to organizers. Attendees will be able to eat liquid nitrogen ice cream, make slime and watch orange juice turn into strawberry floats. They can also collect candy and are encouraged to wear costumes.

All activities will be supervised by trained chemists. Tour guides will lead everyone through the demonstrations.
