Kids can now enjoy a free lunch at the Hollensteiner Park in Belgrade. Lunches are provided through the Gallatin Valley Food Bank and funded by the Montana Office of Public Instruction. The free meals are prepared and served by Montana State University students. Lori Christenson, the program's manager for the Food Bank, said each lunch is a combination of tasty and healthy foods.

The kids summer lunch program is available to any child under the age of 18. From now through August 24th lunches are served at Hollensteiner Park every Monday-Friday from noon to 1 p.m. In addition to a healthy lunch, various local volunteers provide entertainment after the meal. Each day they read with kids, paint faces, chalk the sidewalk and more.

Lunch sites in Bozeman are at Beall Park and the Montana State University Barn. For more information, contact the Gallatin Valley Food Bank at 586-7600 or visit their website: www.gallatinvalleyfoodbank.org.
