If you’re looking for a fun little day trip with the kids, make your destination Kids ‘n’ Snow in West Yellowstone this Saturday and Sunday. Some activities are free, others require registration.

Kids can try out some activities to learn and experience stuff in a safe environment, like snowshoeing, ice fishing, sledding, riding a snowmobile, and simple stuff like identifying animal tracks in the snow, or just making s’mores over a fire. Kids ‘n’ Snow is set up for select weekends through March, and each weekend is different, so you can take the family multiple times. January 13-14; February 3-4; and March 3-4.
