Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear have reunited a number of times since Kurt Cobain’s 1994 death, most recently adopting Beck as their frontman for a cover of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold the World” more than 20 years after Nirvana played the song on MTV Unplugged. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Novoselic remains open to the possibility of more Nirvana reunions in the future.

“These things come up,” the former Nirvana bassist said. “It’s always fun. We’ll see if there’s anything in the future. I don’t know. I haven’t heard of anything.”

Novoselic notes he’s always up for regrouping with his one-time bandmates and collaborating with other artists like they have with Beck, Paul McCartney, Joan Jett, Kim Gordon, St. Vincent and Lorde in the past.

“It’s always fun to play with Dave and Pat,” he said. “We had ‘Sirvana’ with Paul McCartney. And then we had ‘Hervana’ at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -- that was great, wasn’t it? And then Dave, Pat and I did a David Bowie tribute with Beck at this Grammy party.”

“When we got together and played, Dave and Pat and I just tipped it right up, and Beck, he’s great,” Novoselic continued. “It all just came together.”
