The second weekend of this year's Coachella festival will be a lot more purple than anyone could've expected.

Friday night headliners LCD Soundsystem and indie favorite Sufjan Stevens are among the artists playing the event in Indio, Calif. this weekend and they're already among the those paying musical tribute to Prince, who was found dead in his Minnesota home on Thursday.

The recently reunited LCD Soundsystem performed "Controversy," the title track from Prince's 1981 album. Meanwhile, Stevens played "Purple Rain" with accompaniment from Gallant. Check out footage of both covers below.

During last week's first weekend of Coachella, LCD Soundsystem also paid tribute to the late David Bowie with a cover of "Heroes."
