The 'M' Trailhead and parking lot in Bozeman will be closed today, October 12 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to replace the toilet located at the trailhead.

The Bozeman Ranger District is implementing the closure today for safety reasons, as there will be heavy equipment working in the already limited trailhead area. Bozeman District Ranger Lisa Stoeffler told KBZK, "the new toilet is a fully sealed, better ventilated building that is more sanitary and easier to clean and access. It will provide a better resource for those who enjoy this popular recreation site."

The work is only expected to take one day to complete and the Trailhead should re-open on Saturday, October 13.
